Working with Wood

I love incorporating the natural grain of the wood into my work, whether it’s birds, Twigglings (tree people) or portraits. I am currently working on a series: Root Essence which is all about naturalizing art for those that have a harder time accepting their bodies and selves through seeing their reflections in tree form.
